Adair Cares Living the Mission

Adair Homes is a different kind of business. We seek out employees that are actively involved in their local communities; people who understand that there is more to life than just earning a paycheck. Like making a positive difference in someone’s life or meeting an unmet community need.

Through the Adair Cares program, Adair supports its employees by giving them paid time off annually to volunteer. We also provide financial grants to the charities our employees hold dear.

Adair Homes cares about the communities we serve. We exist not just to build high-quality affordable custom homes, but to be good neighbors, friends and corporate citizens.

Injured Military Hero Gets New Accessible Home Makeover

Adair Homes Southwest Washington office donated $1,000 to help local hero, Private First Class Cory Doane, get a home makeover to accommodate his wheelchair. This brave young man nearly lost his life when an IED was intentionally detonated while on a mission during July 2011 in Afghanistan. Cory lost half of his right leg, fractured a femur and had significant nerve damage to his lower body. After 16 surgeries and an extensive stay at an army medical center, Cory was welcomed home with a surprise of a lifetime. His old home had been remodeled to include over 40 feet of wheelchair ramps, widened doors and hallways, remodeled kitchen and bathroom, as well as other need home repairs. "To the individuals and businesses that helped raise almost $13,000 in cash I sincerely thank you for your support. Your generosity helped us to truly be the hands and feet of God as we blessed PFC Doane and his family. With this money we were able to accomplish so much more than we had hoped."

Letter: Dear Southern Oregon Team

Thank you so much for your continued support of Sparrow Clubs this past school year. It has been an honor and a joy getting to know all of you over the last few years and I deeply appreciate all you do, not only for Sparrow Club, but for the entire community. I have seen first hand that Adair truly does care... it's not just a slogan for you, but a way of doing business and a way of living life. Thanks for being such great people and for being a company with integrity!
With great respect,
Matt Sampson
Sparrow Club Director

Holiday Toy Drive

No child shall be denied the magic that a special toy can bring during the holidays, and no parent should suffer the sadness of not being able to provide it. Our North Willamette Valley team felt the same way and wanted to do something about it. With a $250 budget the team went shopping and filled shopping carts full of toys for boys and girls of various ages. Each team member also bought 2 additional toys to add to dozens of presents that were donated to KGW's Great Toy Drive.
